About us

Airport transfers, since 2003.

Two decades of helping travellers get to and from the airport without the stress. From a single Amsterdam booking site in 2003 to a network spanning 150+ countries today — we've stayed focused on one thing: the ride that actually shows up.

Our story

From an Amsterdam idea to a global network

In 2003, we launched Taxi2Airport with one goal: end the airport curb gamble. Instead of guessing on a stranger's meter or scrolling through a dozen local taxi sites, travellers got one place to book a reliable airport transfer, anywhere in the world.

Over the next 17 years the network scaled with the travel industry. Vetted local transfer operators across 150+ countries joined. More than a million travellers booked through us. Our Amsterdam team built deep expertise in what actually makes ground transport work: fair pricing, partner standards, real-time support.

In 2020, when global travel stopped, Taxi2Airport found a new home with Transferz, an Amsterdam-based B2B travel-tech platform with the backing to continue providing peace of mind support to travellers around the world. A new Taxi2Airport was born: same trusted brand, same network, newer technology, sharper foundation.

Today, Taxi2Airport is still one of the leading traveller-facing brands for airport transfers, empowered by the Transferz network. The job is unchanged: getting you to your destination safely, reliably, and at a fair price.
