Transferring from Los Angeles’s airports

LAX is 29 km southwest of downtown, with drive times of 35–60 minutes depending on traffic. To Santa Monica it is shorter - about 13 km, 20–35 minutes via Lincoln Boulevard or the I-405. Hollywood and West Hollywood sit 26–28 km away, typically 35–50 minutes. Van Nuys Airport is 24 km northwest of downtown, with 25–40 minute transfers to most central districts.
