The Manhattan Cruise Terminal occupies Pier 88 and Pier 90 on the Hudson River in Hell’s Kitchen, between West 48th and West 55th Streets. It is the larger of New York’s two cruise terminals and handles Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC, Princess, and Royal Caribbean turnaround sailings, alongside transatlantic departures. The location, walking distance from Times Square and the Theatre District, makes it a practical drop-off point even for non-cruise visitors using it as a Midtown hotel pickup.

Getting from Manhattan Cruise to New York

Most transfers from the terminal cover short hops within Manhattan: Times Square is 1.5 km, Penn Station 2 km, Grand Central 3 km, and the Financial District 8 km. Drive times range from 5 to 25 minutes depending on traffic on the West Side Highway and the cross-town streets.

For airport runs, JFK is 30 km (50–70 minutes), LaGuardia 14 km (25–40 minutes), and Newark Liberty 22 km (35–55 minutes via the Lincoln Tunnel and New Jersey Turnpike).
