Seletar Airport (XSP) is Singapore’s secondary airport, occupying a historic airfield in the north-east of the island that dates back to 1928. It serves private aviation, business jets, flight training, and Firefly’s turboprop service from Subang in Kuala Lumpur. The passenger terminal opened in 2018 and is dramatically smaller than Changi, with a quick walk from aircraft to kerb in just a few minutes after immigration.

Getting from Seletar Airport to Singapore

Seletar sits 20 km from the CBD, accessed from the Seletar Expressway (SLE) and the Central Expressway (CTE). There is no MRT station at the terminal itself, so a private pre-booked transfer is typically the simplest option. The route to Marina Bay or Orchard is direct and toll-light, with most of the drive on expressways rather than congested arterials.
